Participants attending the first two and half (2.5) days of API Q1 Fundamentals training will be given insight as to the drivers behind Q1’s importance and its value in the Oil & Natural Gas Industry. The four (4.0) day Practitioner training goes beyond the fundamentals to include practical examples, hands-on application and open discussions regarding implementing as well as maintaining an effective quality management system.  This course is designed to progressively move participants from introductory to advanced knowledge of API Q1 requirements and interpretations as well as ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

This course is ideal for newcomers as well as those already familiar with working under Spec. Q1 requirements. Course topics primarily include sections: (4) Quality Management System Requirements; (5) Product Realization; and (6) Quality Management System Monitoring, Measurement, Analysis and Improvement. Particular key areas of study include the following:

  • An introduction on the API and overview of the API Monogram Program
