This 3-day virtual training course begins with an overview of the foundation practices for auditing under API Q1 and then progressively covers the roles and responsibilities of Lead Auditors. Group role-plays, which include practical tips, cover conducting effective audit interviews and performing opening and closing meetings. Individual activities will focus on how to develop an audit checklist, create audit interview questionnaires, and effectively document and report audit results. The course also emphasizes the importance of audit planning, the development of audit documents, and the responsibilities of the Lead and Principal Auditors. After completing this course, participants will be familiar with the requirements of API Q1, ISO 9001:2015, and the ISO 19011:2018 guidelines for auditing management systems.
